Accessibility statement

Our position
Everyone who wants a quote should be able to ask for one. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, and we treat any barrier on this site as a bug worth fixing rather than an acceptable limitation.
What we have built in
- A skip link to jump straight past the navigation to the content.
- Semantic headings in a logical order on every page, so screen-reader navigation works.
- Descriptive alternative text on every photograph.
- Full keyboard operation, including the menu, the accordions and the lighting scene switcher, with visible focus outlines throughout.
- Form fields with real labels, errors described in text and linked to the field they belong to, and no reliance on color alone to signal a problem.
- Text that reflows and stays readable when zoomed, and layouts that do not require horizontal scrolling.
- Respect for the reduced motion setting in your operating system. If you have it on, the animated lighting effects and scroll animations do not run.
- Content that is not hidden behind JavaScript: with scripts disabled, all text, links, images and the quote form still work.
What we know is imperfect
Being straight about this is more useful than claiming full compliance:
- The site uses a dark design throughout. We have kept text contrast high, but some visitors find dark interfaces harder to read regardless. Browser and OS reader modes work on every page.
- Photographs of lighting carry meaning that is hard to convey in text. Every image has a full description, and the captions state in words what each photo is showing.
- The lighting scene switcher changes colors across the page. It never changes colors that text is read against, and it does not run at all if you have reduced motion enabled.

If any part of this site stops you doing what you came to do, please tell us through the contact form and describe what happened. We will fix it, and in the meantime we will make sure you get the information or the quote you were after by whatever route works for you.
If the form itself is the barrier, that is exactly the sort of thing we most want to hear about, and we will find another way to help.
